Cherie Karaptis is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in non-surgical aesthetic treatments and advanced skin rejuvenation techniques. With over a decade of experience in aesthetic medicine, Cherie has built a reputation as a skilled and compassionate provider in the Long Island area. She holds multiple degrees from Molloy College and her RFNA certification from The University of Rochester, giving her a strong foundation in both clinical practice and patient care.
Cherie’s expertise includes cosmetic injectables such as neuromodulators and dermal fillers, as well as laser therapies for skin rejuvenation and tightening. Known for her calm demeanor and natural results, Cherie is dedicated to helping patients look and feel like the best version of themselves through personalized, high-quality aesthetic care.
Continued Education
Cherie Karaptis began her professional journey with multiple nursing degrees from Molloy College and went on to earn her RFNA from The University of Rochester. With over 10 years of hands-on experience in aesthetic medicine, she has undergone advanced training in neuromodulators, facial balancing with dermal fillers, and the latest in non-surgical rejuvenation techniques. She continues to pursue ongoing private training and certifications in both injectable and laser-based therapies so she can consistently deliver innovative, results-driven care. Cherie also refines her anatomical knowledge and injection techniques by regularly practicing in the cadaver lab, an experience that deepens her understanding of facial structure and enhances patient safety.

Neuromodulators
- BOTOX® COSMETIC: Reduces the appearance of expression-causing lines and wrinkles around the face by blocking signals that cause muscles to contract and form wrinkles (e.g., crow’s feet, frown lines, forehead lines).
- JEUVEAU®: Reduces the appearance of dynamic wrinkles around the face by targeting the muscle contractions that create these wrinkles.
- DYSPORT®: Blocks chemical signals and muscle contractions to treat frown lines, and is great for larger areas like the forehead due to its higher diffusion rate compared to BOTOX® Cosmetic.
- XEOMIN®: Specifically treats moderate to severe frown lines between the brows by blocking muscle contractions, and is unique due to being filtered to remove unnecessary proteins.

- JUVÉDERM®: Restores volume to thinning areas and minimizes fine lines, wrinkles, and deep folds by attracting and maintaining moisture in the skin.
